n collaboration with Shimen Reservoir and Friendly Seeds Company, which is a partnership among government, industry, and academia, students from two graduate classes (Master's Year 1 and Year 2) were asked to assist in optimizing the environmental education lesson plans for Shimen Reservoir. Through a semester-long design and rehearsal process, the lesson plan presentation was held on January 4th. Over ten reservoir volunteers attended the event, where they learned about the new lesson plans and provided feedback. After the lesson plan demonstrations, the volunteers took us on a tour of the Amuping Silt Prevention Tunnel, where we learned about the reservoir's silt removal facilities and experienced the hardships faced by engineers during the tunnel's construction. The goal was for the students to develop a sense of gratitude and to cherish water resources more deeply.
