Carbon Pricing and Its Relationship to Us
["Carbon Pricing and Its Relationship to Us" Lecture Successfully Concluded] Our institute was honored to collaborate with the Society of Wilderness and the Carbon Tax Alliance to invite Dr. Daigee Shaw, researcher from the Institute of Economics, Academia Sinica, to deliver a lecture. In the coffee shop next to our university library, Dr. Shaw explained the importance of carbon pricing mechanisms to our faculty and students in a clear and accessible manner. In this era of global active promotion of net-zero transition, this lecture helped us better understand the significance of carbon pricing policies for environmental sustainability. Dr. Shaw not only shared international implementation experiences but also provided professional insights on Taiwan's upcoming carbon fee system, greatly benefiting all attendees. We thank the Society of Wilderness and the Carbon Tax Alliance for their collaborative efforts in making this meaningful environmental education lecture possible. Our institute will continue to focus on sustainable development issues and looks forward to bringing more high-quality interdisciplinary dialogue opportunities to our campus community.
