We invited Director Boyuan Zheng, who was awarded the Environmental Protection Youth Leader Award by the Ministry of Environment, to share his experiences. Director Zheng has a background in marine conservation, and with this expertise, he co-founded a marine environmental education company with his friends at a young age. During this time, he received the Environmental Protection Youth Leader Award and represented the country in international exchanges with other young environmental leaders. However, due to the pandemic, the company eventually closed. The lecture began with this part of his journey, sharing his personal experiences. During his time abroad, Director Zheng unexpectedly started tracing the family story of Vietnamese-Chinese descent, which eventually led him to become a documentary filmmaker. These transitions and ideas are hoped to provide students with more inspiration and insights.
