Last year, the university won 24 gold medals in water sports competitions. President Chiu emphasized that this cooperation not only represents the outcome of joint efforts but also marks the beginning of a new chapter in promoting swimming in Taiwan. With the university's leading swimming facilities, the partnership will further expand to provide students with more internships and learning opportunities, aiming to elevate the competitive level and talent development in swimming. In recent years, the Swimming Association has been pushing for reforms to improve the competition environment and athlete development, and the University of Taipei has demonstrated strong capabilities in swimming, winning numerous domestic competition medals. He looks forward to expanding the cooperation to other water sports, such as diving, to enhance Taiwan's overall competitiveness in water sports, ensuring that Taiwanese swimming continues to shine on international stages. This collaboration will not only strengthen the professional skills of University of Taipei students but also inject more youthful energy into the operation and management of swimming events in Taiwan.
