The program for students from Illinois State University in the United States studying in Taiwan included a visit to the Taipei City School Environmental Education Center to learn about the center's mission, visit the plant and animal ecology of the Ma Mingtan Wetland, use VR equipment to experience the removal of alien species from the wetland, and finally make handmade chopsticks.
