【USR】Integration and Diffusion of Medical-Elderly Care and Higher Education Perspectives: Constructing a Social Prescription and Linking Worker Innovation and Development Hub - Thailand Student Exchange Session II
The “Thailand Student Exchange Session” was conducted entirely in English, aiming to promote educational exchange and cultural understanding among international students. The event began with an introduction to the college by faculty members, highlighting the university’s unique features, curriculum goals, and talent cultivation strategies, as well as sharing their own research topics and the development paths of their graduate students. Following this, graduate students from the Graduate Institute of Sport, Leisure and Hospitality Management introduced themselves, sharing their professional backgrounds, athletic expertise, and research interests. Thai students then presented the characteristics of their home institutions, personal specialties, and their understanding and practical experiences in areas such as social prescribing and occupational therapy. To encourage interaction, the first half of the event included group ice-breaking activities, followed by a “Boccia” experience in the second half. The rules of the game were introduced by students from the institute, and mixed teams were formed with both Thai and local students. Boccia emphasizes teamwork and strategic thinking and was originally designed for individuals with disabilities, though it is inclusive and accessible to all.
