The University of Taipei participated in the 2025 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo, organized by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE). The Expo aims to unite all sectors of society in addressing global challenges, foster innovative forces for sustainability transitions, and highlight Taiwan’s achievements in sustainable development through cross-sector collaboration. It is recognized as one of the most influential international events in this field. At this exhibition, the University of Taipei Sustainable Development (SDGs) Office showcased the outcomes of six departments and a graduate institute. The displays included picture book creations from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, performance highlights from the Department of Dance, a cross-disciplinary musical by the Department of Music, resilient design and “micro-play equipment” from the Department of Urban Development, educational apps and handbooks developed by the Department of Learning and Materials Design, as well as the “Sustainability Partnership” MOU sharing by the Graduate Institute of Educational Administration and Evaluation. This diverse range of works fully demonstrated the university’s strong capacity and innovative spirit in advancing sustainability across education, arts, design, and social practice. The exhibition took place from September 11 to 13 at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1. Over the three-day event, the University of Taipei’s pavilion attracted wide participation from faculty, students, and the general public, fostering deeper understanding and support for sustainability education. Overall, the exhibition successfully highlighted the university’s achievements in sustainable development and further underscored its active role in responding to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through education and social engagement.
