【USR】Integration and Diffusion of Medical-Elderly Care and Higher Education Perspectives: Constructing a Social Prescription and Linking Worker Innovation and Development Hub - 2025 University Social Responsibility (USR) Expo
In 2025, our university participated in the USR EXPO, showcasing achievements under two major themes: “New Health Prescriptions” and “Social Prescriptions.” These themes highlight the university’s diverse practices in advancing social responsibility. Under “New Health Prescriptions,” we integrated nature-based healing, cultural inspiration, AI technology, and interdisciplinary collaboration to propose holistic health promotion programs that address the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of citizens. Through the “Social Prescriptions” initiative, we trained Link Workers to connect healthcare, communities, and education, advancing issues such as food safety, dementia-friendly practices, and mental health. This approach fosters an integrated cross-disciplinary care network. The exhibition attracted significant public and professional engagement. Through interaction and exchange, visitors gained a deeper understanding and recognition of the USR concept. Our university also took this opportunity to share experiences with other universities, communities, and industry partners, creating new opportunities for collaboration. This participation not only showcased our program outcomes but also reinforced the spirit of “bringing the university beyond the campus and into the community.” We continue to respond to social needs through education and professional practice, fulfilling our commitment to university social responsibility.
