To promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Office of Sustainable Development is hosting the "SDGs Lecture Series." This session features a "Used Object Upcycling" course from Little Fashion Workshop instructor Huang Huijun, giving abandoned socks a new lease of life. Using recycled materials, students combine design thinking with handcrafting ingenuity to create unique everyday items, ranging from practical to therapeutic. From conception to completion, students experience the charm of recycled design and awaken their awareness of environmental sustainability. The course will introduce students to green fashion design elements and teach basic hand sewing techniques, integrating green fashion into daily life in a fun and therapeutic way. This event will feature a Halloween theme, adding a festive touch and creative interest to the creations.
