From Disaster Perception to Residential Decision

This study explores how individuals’ perceptions of disaster risk influence their residential decision-making. By integrating psychological, environmental, and social factors, it reveals how risk awareness, place attachment, and policy contexts shape choices of relocation or continued residence. The findings contribute to understanding human–environment interactions in disaster-prone areas and support more resilient urban planning.
