This lecture, themed “Trends in the Development of the Sports Industry and Career Planning,” provided valuable insights into potential career pathways for university students. Through the speaker’s practical experience in managing sports centers, we gained a clearer understanding of the expanding opportunities within the sports industry. As public awareness of health and exercise continues to rise, the industry is moving toward greater diversification and professionalism. Fields such as sports facility management, fitness coaching, event planning, and sports technology are showing strong growth potential. In particular, smart management systems, data-driven member services, and cross-disciplinary integration have become key industry trends. The speaker’s real-world examples from sports center operations helped me recognize the importance of service quality, professional competence, and accurate market positioning in successful facility management. The lecture also reminded us of the need to build hands-on experience, pursue relevant certifications, and strengthen communication skills during our studies to enhance our competitiveness in the job market. Overall, this session deepened my understanding of industry developments and clarified my career direction, offering meaningful guidance for my future professional preparation.
