Community-Based Child and Adolescent Mental Health Interventions with a Neurodiversity-Oriented Approach
The lecture by the Syin-Lu Foundation highlighted their dedicated support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, offering comprehensive care from early intervention to elderly care. The lecture emphasized that since its establishment, the foundation has provided services spanning education, employment, and daily living support, reflecting their professionalism and dedication. Many real-life cases were shared, demonstrating how occupational therapy helps children with developmental delays catch up, and how sheltered workshops provide employment opportunities for adults with disabilities, enabling them to find value and purpose in society. The lecture also noted that the Syin-Lu Foundation has actively responded to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in recent years and published its first ESG report in 2023, showcasing its commitment to environmental, social, and governance responsibilities. This highlighted that the foundation not only addresses individual needs but also strives to expand its social impact.
