The Department of Urban Development of the University of Taipei and its sister department, the Department of Urban Engineering at the University of Tokyo, jointly organized the “Taiwan–Japan Urban Planning and Design Workshop” and an overseas urban field study from November 2 to November 6. Through exchanges and discussions between faculty members and students from both universities, participants shared key issues in urban planning in Taiwan and Japan, aiming to deepen students’ cross-cultural understanding and international communication skills.
