Interdisciplinary Program on Exoskeleton System Integration and Practical Application Analysis
This course focuses on the integration and practical applications of exoskeleton technology in modern military units and professional fields. The first part introduces the foundational concepts of exoskeleton systems, including the design principles of active and passive exoskeletons, power mechanisms, control strategies, and their applications in military tasks, industrial support, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement. Students learn how exoskeletons contribute to reducing physical load, improving endurance, and increasing operational efficiency. The second part provides hands-on training in exoskeleton operation, covering proper donning techniques, system activation, control interface operation, assistance-mode adjustments, and safety procedures. Through practical operation, students gain familiarity with system behavior and device-user interaction. The final section covers system integration and performance evaluation, including gait analysis, physiological load monitoring, energy efficiency assessment, electromyography changes, and task-based performance testing. These analytical approaches help students understand how to objectively assess the functional benefits of exoskeleton assistance. Overall, the course emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge, operational competency, and scientific evaluation, enabling students to effectively utilize and assess exoskeleton systems in real-world scenarios.
