Interdisciplinary Program on Postural Assessment (II)

This course continues from the foundational concepts of postural assessment, focusing on posture measurement tools, techniques, and the analysis of assessment results, with a practical approach to improving poor posture. The first section introduces common postural measurement tools and techniques, including motion capture systems, electronic measurement devices, photographic analysis techniques, and AI-assisted analysis methods. It provides detailed instructions on how to use these tools for precise postural measurement and data collection. The second section delves into analyzing postural assessment results, explaining how to interpret various measurement data such as pelvic tilt angles, spinal curvature, shoulder asymmetry, and how these data correlate with physical health and functional performance. The final section discusses how to develop improvement strategies based on the evaluation results, including individualized exercise prescriptions, corrective exercises, movement education, posture training, and adjustments to movement techniques. These methods aim to enhance postural stability, reduce the negative effects of poor posture on health, and assist students in applying theoretical knowledge to clinical and practical settings. Overall, the course emphasizes the application of postural measurement and analysis techniques, offering practical solutions for improving posture health and providing students with comprehensive strategies for enhancing posture stability.
