The environmental education and leisure experience activity at the "Breeze Platform" of Jiantansan Trail demonstrated the multiple values of suburban natural spaces in leisure development and environmental education. Jiantansan is located in the core living circle of Taipei City, possessing both transportation convenience and natural resource advantages, making it an important field for citizens to engage in outdoor leisure and environmental learning. Through the activity design of trail walking and platform staying, students can get close to nature during light exercise and experience the spatial characteristics of coexistence between the city and mountain forests. During the activity, the rich vegetation landscape and good shading effects along the trail not only improved walking comfort but also created a learning environment suitable for environmental observation and discussion. The open view provided by the Breeze Platform formed a sharp contrast between the urban landscape and the natural environment, helping to guide participants to reflect on the impact of urban development on the natural environment and the important role of green space in urban sustainability. Such viewing platforms are not just rest spaces, but also ideal venues for conducting environmental education and cultivating public awareness. Furthermore, through joint participation, communication, and video filming, interaction among students was promoted. Combining leisure activities with social elements helps to increase participation motivation and activity satisfaction, and allows environmental education content to be naturally absorbed in a relaxed atmosphere. This design model aligns with the modern leisure activity trend emphasizing "experience-oriented" and "sense of participation." Overall, the Jiantansan Trail and Breeze Platform successfully integrated natural landscapes, environmental education, and leisure experience functions, demonstrating the diverse values of urban natural spaces in education, health, and leisure levels, and also providing a specific and feasible reference direction for future urban leisure and environmental education activity planning.
