Professor Chen Yi-Cheng led students from his Mechatronics Design course to visit Wei Sen Drying Industrial. Initially curious about the role of "ovens" in high-tech manufacturing, students learned how precision drying is critical for semiconductor curing, requiring extreme temperature uniformity and low oxygen levels. Beyond electronics, Wei Sen is expanding into aerospace and biotech drying equipment. The visit concluded with an insightful career discussion, helping students understand the technical requirements of the semiconductor industry. This experience encouraged students to pursue cross-disciplinary goals and provided a clearer roadmap for their future professional development.
