Visiting the FUTEX Future Tech Pavilion at the 2025 Taiwan Innotech Expo

The “2025 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE)” was grandly launched at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 on November 16 for a three-day exhibition. This year’s event focuses on the cross-disciplinary integration of artificial intelligence applications and sustainable technologies. The National Science and Technology Council, in collaboration with Academia Sinica, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, jointly presented the “FUTEX Future Tech Pavilion,” highlighting the theme “AI Application Experience × Innovative Breakthroughs” and showcasing the latest technological innovations driving advancements across various fields. During the expo, faculty members from the Graduate Institute of Sports Equipment Technology led graduate students to visit the “Sports Technology Interactive Zone.” The exhibition area featured cutting-edge applications such as wearable sensing technology, AI-driven sports data analysis, and intelligent rehabilitation systems. Students were able to engage in hands-on experiences, gaining firsthand insight into how innovative technologies seamlessly integrate into daily sports activities and the broader sports industry. Through this visit, students deepened their understanding of the emerging trends in AI and sports technology integration. The experience also inspired numerous creative concepts for future software and hardware product development, aiming to meet the specific needs of various sports disciplines and contribute to further innovation and value enhancement within the sports technology industry. The visit significantly broadened students’ practical perspectives and strengthened their forward-looking thinking and innovative capabilities regarding the future development of sports technology.
