Long-term care services refer to a range of care and professional services (including home care, day care, family care, small-scale multifunctional services, and professional services) provided by long-term care service personnel and organizations to people who are expected to or have been unable to live independently for more than six months. These services include assistive device rental, purchase, home accessibility improvements, transportation, and respite services.
