UT Hosts Opening Ceremony and Campus Tour for the 2025 Pakkred Secondary School Science and Technology & Mandarin Study Abroad The Office of International Affairs at University of Taipei held the opening ceremony today for the "2025 Pakkred Secondary School Science and Technology & Mandarin Study Abroad" in collaboration with the Science Class of Pakkred Secondary School from Thailand. We warmly welcomed the visiting teachers and students to our campus. During the event, we introduced UT's academic development and educational features, as well as promoted the learning opportunities offered by our International Foundation Program. A detailed overview of the study tour itinerary and the planned scientific and cultural exchange activities was also presented. Following the ceremony, students from the Department of Applied Physics and Chemistry and the Department of Earth and Life Sciences served as guides, leading the visiting group on a tour of the Science Building. They introduced the physics and chemistry laboratories and a variety of fossil specimens, offering the visitors an in-depth understanding of the university’s diverse teaching resources and outstanding academic environment. We extend our sincere appreciation to the above-mentioned two departments and our affiliated high school, Taipei Municipal Dali High School, for their support in facilitating scientific experiments during the program. We hope that the students from Pakkred Secondary School will gain valuable insights, broaden their global perspectives, and foster meaningful cross-cultural and academic exchanges through this enriching and multifaceted experience.
