The University of Taipei (UT) held an online meeting with Kansai University of International Studies on January 9, 2026 (Friday) to conduct preliminary discussions on a proposed 2+2 undergraduate dual degree program and future directions for academic exchange. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on department-level collaboration, curriculum alignment, and student learning support. The two institutions reached a shared understanding that cooperation could initially begin with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), followed by the gradual expansion of collaborative initiatives to provide students with more diverse international learning opportunities. Further coordination and follow-up will continue through the respective offices of international affairs.
