The Tokyo Big Six University Athletic League from Japan visited the University of Taipei with its women’s basketball delegation and held a friendly game with the UTaipei women’s basketball team. Led by Professor Chien Wei-chuan from the Department of Physical Education, the UTaipei team competed with the visiting players, fostering friendship and sports exchange between Taiwan and Japan. The Tokyo Big Six Women’s Basketball League includes teams from prestigious universities such as Waseda University, Keio University, Meiji University, Hosei University, Rikkyo University, and the University of Tokyo. The event was attended by the president of the Tokyo Big Six Athletic League, Tetsuya Saito, and Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly member Kudo, further strengthening international sports exchange and institutional collaboration.
