Li Guo-Sheng, the founder of Bear Hug Learning Center, grew up in a grandparent-led family. His dedication to children’s education stems from a desire to improve the environment of his hometown. For the children, Bear Hug Learning Center is far more than just a place to study. In addition to essential after-school tutoring, the teachers’ companionship provides the warmth and support children need as they grow. Breaking free from the traditional idea of a “learning center,” they hope that in the future this place can become a bridge that connects children to the world. In this pure and nurturing space, they aim not only to equip children with the courage and knowledge needed to face the world, but also to accompany them in discovering their own sense of purpose—gently lighting up the small dreams within each child.
