University of Central Arkansas Visited The University of Taipei

The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) visited the Office of International Affairs at the University of Taipei on November 5 to discuss future collaboration plans. The meeting was attended by Dr. Linda Hsu, a distinguished violinist and professor in the Department of Music at University of Central Arkansas, who personally introduced the cooperation model and the latest opportunities for international exchange. During the discussion, Dr. Hsu detailed the structure of the University of Central Arkansas's student exchange program and expressed the university's strong interest in welcoming students from the University of Taipei to study in the United States. She also presented University of Central Arkansas's university flag as a gift, symbolizing the deepening partnership between the two institutions. The conversation addressed common concerns for students participating in overseas exchanges, such as language barriers, credit transfer, and the risk of delayed graduation. Both sides explored practical solutions to ensure that students can participate smoothly in future international programs. The two institutions also exchanged insights on the experiences of music students studying and performing abroad, fostering academic and cultural exchange. This visit not only strengthened mutual understanding but also opened up new opportunities for collaboration in academic and student mobility programs.
