To provide students from University of Central Arkansas and Hendrix College with an immersive experience of Taiwanese Indigenous culture, the study tour included a field visit to the PiyawaiTribe. During the visit, students interacted with tribe members and explored daily life, traditional customs, and cultural features of the community, while also appreciating the natural environment and social connections. This activity aimed to deepen students’ understanding and respect for Taiwan’s Indigenous cultures and foster meaningful cultural exchange and learning experiences.
