The Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of University of Taipei Held a Meaningful International Exchange Activity

The Affiliated Experimental Elementary School of University of Taipei held a meaningful international exchange activity on November 11, inviting two students from Virginia State University (VSU), Aimiri and Cam, to join the music class and interact face-to-face with the children. The event was coordinated and hosted by Director Luo Jie, and the classroom was filled with lively energy and joyful laughter. During the music lesson, the two instructors demonstrated and taught rhythm beats and the cajón drum, guiding students to feel the pulse of music through movement and listening. The children participated enthusiastically, confidently answering questions, and showing great excitement during the prize-winning Q&A segment. Beyond musical practice, the students also engaged in natural and friendly cross-cultural interactions with the instructors through conversations and question-and-answer exchanges. A lighthearted activity was also arranged, allowing the two visiting instructors to try the popular Taiwanese drink from 50 Lan. They found the beverage both unique and delightful, adding a fun cultural-exchange highlight to the class. This special music class not only allowed students to learn through rhythm but also gave them the opportunity to interact directly with instructors from across the globe—broadening their horizons and boosting their confidence. The elementary school noted that it will continue to promote multicultural learning activities, helping children grow happily through international exchange experiences.
