To provide students from University of Central Arkansas and Hendrix College with an experience of traditional Taiwanese arts, a seal carving activity was arranged as part of the study tour. Under the guidance of instructors, students created their own personal seals while learning carving techniques and the cultural significance of seals. Through hands-on practice and explanations, participants not only gained an understanding of the history and aesthetics of seal carving but also deepened their appreciation of Chinese calligraphy and cultural traditions, experiencing creativity and cultural expression in a fun and interactive way.
