2025 Ministry of Education Overseas United Higher Education Fair – Second Stop in West Malaysia: Klang, Selangor Klang is the royal town of Selangor, Malaysia. With its strategic location, Port Klang is Malaysia’s largest seaport, making Klang one of the most developed regions in terms of industry, commerce, trade, and education. The majority of the Chinese population in Klang are of Fujian (Hokkien) descent, and Hokkien (Southern Min dialect) is the predominant local dialect. Klang is known as a cultural hub for Malaysian Chinese, and also regarded as the stronghold of Chinese education in Selangor. The population is nearly 1.2 million, and there are over 34 public and private secondary schools in the area. Our booth number is 33.
