To pray for the victims of the earthquake in Myanmar and to comfort students from affected families, the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC) will hold a prayer event titled "PRAY FOR MYANMAR,LIGHT UP HOPE" at our university. Date: Friday, April 11 Time: 5:00 PM Venue: Zhongzheng Hall, University of Taipei heartReligious representatives from Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam will lead interfaith prayers, and a lighting ceremony will symbolize the transmission of hope, light, and warmth to Myanmar. Prayer cards will be available on site, and messages of support written by OCAC Chairperson Hsia Chia-ching, Deputy Minister of Education Yeh Ping-cheng, our President Chiu Ying-hao, and faculty and students will be displayed on a “Wall of Blessings” to convey heartfelt wishes to the people of Myanmar.
