To introduce students from University of Central Arkansas and Hendrix College to traditional Chinese art, a Chinese calligraphy experience was arranged as part of the study tour. Under the guidance of instructors, students learned basic brush strokes and writing techniques while practicing simple Chinese characters and auspicious phrases. Through hands-on practice and cultural explanations, participants gained an appreciation for the artistic beauty of calligraphy and developed a deeper understanding of Chinese characters and traditional cultural expression.
