The Malaysian alumni are an invaluable asset to University of Taipei, playing a crucial role in the development and operation of the alumni association. To strengthen the connection and communication between the university, alumni, and current Malaysian students, we organized this special gathering dinner at an authentic Malaysian restaurant located in the heart of Taipei. We hope that this casual and enjoyable event will foster friendship and cooperation among participants. The university’s President, Yin-Hao Chiu, and Chief Secretary, Chin-Chuan Kuo, also attended the event, engaging warmly with students and alumni, bringing surprise and joy to all present. Through their conversations with alumni and students, they further bridged the gap between the university and its alumni, deepening mutual emotional ties. During the event, we introduced the plans for establishing the Malaysia Alumni Association and hope to use this opportunity to strengthen connections among alumni, build a tight-knit network, and encourage collaboration between alumni and the university, working together to contribute to the future development of the Malaysia Alumni Association. The university will first establish a preparatory committee for the Malaysia Alumni Association and actively promote its formal establishment, further enhancing alumni cohesion and solidarity. We hope this event will serve as the beginning of ongoing communication between the alumni and the university, encouraging more alumni and current students to participate and support the development of the Malaysia Alumni Association. We believe that, with the establishment of the alumni association, there will be more opportunities to promote cooperation and interaction among alumni, creating a richer academic, cultural, and social resource for the campus and laying a solid foundation for future development.
