To provide students from College of Charleston with an understanding of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry and technological innovation, the study tour included a visit to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC). During the visit, students learned about wafer manufacturing processes, research and development technologies, and corporate operations through guided tours and presentations. Participants gained insights into the global semiconductor industry, its significance, and current trends. This activity offered students valuable exposure to a high-tech environment, enhancing their understanding of industry practices and providing practical learning experiences in the field of advanced technology.
