To provide international students with an experience of Taiwan’s culinary culture, the study tour hosted by the University of Taipei included a DIY pineapple cake activity. Under the guidance of instructors, students made their own pineapple cakes while learning about their history and production process. Through this hands-on activity, participants not only enjoyed tasting this iconic Taiwanese dessert but also gained a deeper understanding of local food culture and traditional craftsmanship, combining creativity with cultural learning in a fun and engaging way.
