The University of Taipei held an online exchange meeting with Tokyo Metropolitan University in Japan, with faculty members from the Department of Urban Development and scholars from Tokyo Metropolitan University participating. During the meeting, both institutions introduced their academic programs and research areas and discussed potential collaboration in urban studies and academic exchange. The University of Taipei also presented the concept of establishing a trilateral university alliance among Taiwan, Japan, and Korea to promote regional cooperation on urban governance and development. The meeting laid the groundwork for future collaboration, including international workshops and academic conferences.
