This activity organized a site visit to the urban renewal projects around Taipei Main Station. Through on-site observation and case introductions, students gained a deeper understanding of how urban renewal operates within the context of urban development. The visit explored planning backgrounds, land-use adjustments, public space improvements, and development coordination. By examining real-world cases, students were able to better understand the policy mechanisms and planning concepts behind urban renewal and develop a broader perspective on urban regeneration and city development.
