Little Village’s teaching team first introduced the types of early childhood education in Singapore—infant care, childcare, and kindergarten, each for different age groups. Unlike many other kindergartens, Little Village uses an inquiry-based approach, encouraging children to explore topics they are interested in through teacher-guided questions and discussion. For example, when children hoped for more interaction with their parents at home, the class explored family care and created a family board game and a graduation short play, inviting parents to participate.
