On April 29, 2025, Dr. Tzu-Hsuan Yuan invited guest speaker Hsu Shu-Han to deliver a specialized lecture titled "Medication Safety and Easy-to-Read Medical Information." In an era of information overload, transforming complex medical education into accessible and actionable guidelines for the public has become a vital task in public health. During the session, Ms. Hsu provided a clear explanation of the "Easy-to-Read" concept and its application within the healthcare system, sharing practical cases of optimizing medicine labels and health brochures. Through case studies, students learned how to simplify complex medication protocols into precise, user-friendly guidance from a patient-centered perspective. This lecture not only enhanced the students' communication and health education skills but also sparked reflection on "medical information equity," emphasizing the critical importance of clear information in safeguarding medication safety for the elderly and people with disabilities.
