Inviting Expert Chuang Hui-Ching from the Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation to Deliver a Lecture We invited expert speaker Ms. Chuang Hui-Ching from the Syin-Lu Social Welfare Foundation to give a lecture, deeply exploring support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. The foundation provides comprehensive, lifelong services ranging from early intervention to elderly care. During the lecture, it was shared that since its establishment, the foundation has offered services covering education, employment, and daily living support, demonstrating remarkable professionalism and dedication. Many real-life case examples were presented, illustrating how occupational therapy helps children with developmental delays catch up on milestones, and how sheltered workshops provide employment opportunities for adults with disabilities, enabling them to discover self-worth and integrate into society. Additionally, the lecture highlighted the Syin-Lu Foundation's active response to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in recent years. In 2023, the foundation released its first ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) report, showcasing its strong commitment to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and good governance. The Syin-Lu Foundation not only addresses individual needs but is also dedicated to expanding its broader social impact.
