114 Years - USR - Practical Solution for Parents and Children with ADHD
This lecture, "Practical Solutions for Parents and Children with ADHD - Part 1," was presented by experienced psychologist Huang Huani. The aim was to help students gain a deeper understanding of the behavioral, learning, and emotional regulation characteristics of students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and to further explore effective teaching and counseling strategies. The lecture began with the core symptoms of ADHD, combining real-life cases and assessment tools (such as the SNAP-IV scale) to help students grasp the foundations of behavioral observation and functional analysis. The psychologist emphasized that symptom presentation must be interpreted within a developmental stage and environmental context to improve the accuracy and feasibility of intervention strategies. The course introduced Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methods, explaining how to promote positive student behavior and learning motivation through point systems, reinforcement strategies, and emotional coping techniques, allowing students to combine theory and practice in the classroom. The lecture particularly emphasized the importance of parent-teacher collaboration, highlighting the necessity of establishing a consistent support system among teachers, parents, and psychologists to help promote the stability and growth of ADHD students in the school environment. Through this lecture, students will enhance their understanding of people with special needs and their ability to respond professionally, laying a foundation for their future involvement in education and social welfare practice.
