Xiangqing Home is a halfway house for girls aged 12 to 18, dedicated to providing a safe, stable, and supportive living environment. The home serves girls whose families are experiencing hardship and who are temporarily unable to live at home. We believe that every girl has the potential for change and growth. The home provides holistic care, encompassing companionship, educational guidance, and psychological support. A professional team of social workers, life counselors, teachers, and psychologists collaborates to design individualized care plans, accompanying girls step-by-step in rebuilding their confidence and future direction. Life counselors play a crucial role in accompanying girls in their daily lives. Their main tasks include helping to establish regular routines, ensuring basic living needs (such as food, hygiene, and sleep) are properly met, and maintaining a good environment and public order. In addition, life counselors provide emotional support, listening to girls' worries and needs, and assisting them in learning emotional management and interpersonal skills. Life counselors also plan diverse activities to enhance girls' life skills and self-exploration abilities. This job requires a high degree of empathy and stability, because we are not just companions in life, but also important supporters helping girls rediscover strength and hope. Sunny Home is a transitional journey, and we hope that every girl here will feel warmth and understanding, and move on to the next stage of her life with renewed strength.
