2026 Vietnam Admission Consulting Day - HCMC

University of Taipei at the 2026 Vietnam Admission Consulting Day in Ho Chi Minh City On March 8, the University of Taipei participated in a major education fair in Vietnam, represented by Mr. Wu-Long Jhuang, Director of the International and Cross-Strait Academic Exchange Division, and Mr. De-Yao Liu, project staff member. The university achieved fruitful results in expanding its international student recruitment. The event, which has been held for many years, attracts tens of thousands of students and parents annually and serves as an important platform for higher education promotion in Vietnam. The University of Taipei also gained media attention during the event and was featured as the headline image in Tuổi Trẻ Newspaper, significantly enhancing its visibility and brand presence in the Vietnamese market. During the event, the university highlighted its International Foundation Program and INTENSE program. The booth attracted strong interest from prospective students, indicating that these programs are increasingly recognized and aligned with local students’ academic and career aspirations. Based on on-site observations and collected data, students showed strong interest in fields such as Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Business Management, and Medical and Health-related disciplines. Most students expressed a clear intention to study abroad, with many also showing interest in studying in Taiwan. Key factors influencing their decision included scholarships, English-taught programs, curriculum relevance, and teaching quality, reflecting a strong emphasis on practical learning and future career development. In addition, Vietnamese alumni of the University of Taipei supported the event by communicating with students in their native language, enhancing interaction and building trust. Local education agencies also visited the booth and expressed interest in future collaboration. The University of Taipei announced that applications for international students and the International Foundation Program for the 2026 academic year are open until April 30, while applications for the INTENSE program closes on April 24. International students are warmly welcomed to apply and join the University of Taipei’s diverse and globally oriented learning environment.
