114-2025 USR-2025 International Symposium on the Meaning Construction of Compassionate Care Communities and Grief Therapy
The "International Symposium on Compassionate Care Communities and Meaning Construction in Grief Therapy" was held at the International Conference Hall of Taipei City Hospital, Wanhua Branch, with simultaneous online participation. The symposium brought together experts and scholars from diverse fields including psychology, social work, medicine, and religion, both domestically and internationally. Over one hundred people attended in person, demonstrating the high level of attention and fruitful cross-disciplinary exchange. The symposium covered four main themes: the practical application of compassionate care, the application of meaning therapy in grief support, understanding cross-cultural grief experiences, and the construction of community support systems. Through keynote speeches and practical sharing, professional knowledge was deepened, and localized grief support strategies and cross-disciplinary collaboration models were proposed. This symposium emphasized that in the face of grief and loss, supportive care should be built through compassion and understanding, and that "meaning construction" is a crucial direction for grief healing, aiming to promote a more integrated and humanistic community grief care network.
