Art Exhibition - Time Trap
"Time Trap" depicts the gradual loss of time among contemporary people amidst technological environments and psychological pressures. From the initial attraction and lingering on screens in daily routines, to choosing delay and avoidance in the face of anxiety and stress, ultimately entering a state of perceptual disorientation and temporal disorder, the work attempts to capture this subtle yet recurring internal evolution. This series is created using semi-three-dimensional composite media, employing foam, industrial spray paint, and other everyday materials. Utilizing their inexpensive, artificial, and quick physical characteristics, it transforms time from an abstract concept into a spatial experience that can be viewed and perceived. The works are like preserved "psychological specimens," not pursuing the permanence of sculpture, but rather creating fleeting "pauses" within the chaotic torrent of information. Time here is no longer merely a unit of passage, but a gradually tightening structure. As people continuously surrender the "now" to the next moment, time imperceptibly takes over, leading us into an invisible trap. This exhibition invites viewers to temporarily detach themselves from unconscious digital scrolling and re-examine their relationship with time.
