In response to climate change and the trend towards carbon neutrality, understanding product carbon footprint management and verification has become a crucial capability for sustainable development and environmental governance. To enhance faculty and students' awareness and practical understanding of carbon footprint issues, our university is hosting an online event on "Product Carbon Footprint Management and Verification," inviting professional lecturers to conduct online presentations and share their experiences. This lecture will explain the definition and importance of product carbon footprint, introduce commonly used international standards (such as ISO 14067), verification processes, and techniques for identifying carbon emission hotspots. It will also incorporate practical case studies to help participants understand how to integrate carbon footprint information into product lifecycle management and corporate sustainability strategies. The event will be conducted online, with lecturers using visually appealing presentations to help participants grasp the fundamental concepts and application methods from basic to advanced levels.
