Humanities and Arts Lectures

DuDuZhan is a Taiwanese new media artist, born in Hsinchu in 1987. She graduated with a Master's degree in Multimedia Animation Arts from the National Taiwan University of Arts and a degree in Digital Media Design from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology. She specializes in the interdisciplinary integration of technological art, performing arts, and visual arts. Her work often explores the interactive relationships between people, between people and technology, and between people and media, with a particular focus on the connection between technological media and bodily sensation, as well as the changes in bodily states over time. For example, she uses media such as LED lighting, wireless sensors, and interactive programs to present the interweaving of technology and biology.
