Department of Athletics Achieves Outstanding Results at the 2026 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games with 17 Gold, 7 Silver, and 10 Bronze Medals

The 2026 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games were held at National Central University from May 3 to May 6, 2026. The Department of Athletics at University of Taipei participated in five sports categories, including track and field, artistic gymnastics, weightlifting, shooting, and archery. The teams delivered an outstanding performance, winning a total of 17 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 10 bronze medals, for an impressive overall total of 34 medals. Competing against many outstanding athletes from universities across the country, the athletes from the University of Taipei overcame fierce competition and achieved remarkable results. These achievements at the National Intercollegiate Athletic Games reflect the long-term dedication, intensive training, and hard work of both the students and faculty members of the Department of Athletics. The results also demonstrated the perseverance and pursuit of excellence embodied by the University of Taipei athletes. Moving forward, the Department of Athletics will continue to cultivate outstanding athletic talent and strive for even greater success in higher-level competitions, bringing further honor to the university.
