A total of eight student groups took the stage at this presentation, showcasing their fruitful research results achieved under the guidance of their advisors. This year's research topics were highly diverse and profound, spanning multiple fields including medicine, ecology, and environmental science. The contents covered a wide range of issues, such as explorations into Alzheimer's disease treatments, research on neurodegenerative diseases, the physiological mechanisms of invasive alien species (e.g., the giant African snail), insect adaptation under global warming, and the impact of climate change on society. The event was filled with a vibrant academic atmosphere. Students presented their research findings on stage with confidence and poise, while the audience of faculty and peers listened attentively and engaged in active exchanges. This presentation not only demonstrated the students' solid scientific training and excellent presentation skills but also reflected the deep concern of the Biology division's faculty and students for contemporary medical and socio-environmental issues!
