aculty members and students from College of Charleston participated in a Chinese cultural experience course during their exchange and study program, learning diabolo, a traditional Taiwanese folk sport. During the class, the students were introduced to the basic techniques and cultural background of diabolo under the guidance of the instructor, and personally practiced movements such as tossing, catching, and balancing. The atmosphere throughout the activity was lively and enjoyable. Through this experience, the students not only appreciated the charm of traditional Chinese folk culture, but also gained a deeper understanding of Taiwan’s feature sports and the spirit of cultural heritage preservation.
