2026 The 11th National Internship Exhibition for Planning Departments

The “2026 The 21st National Joint Internship Exhibition of Planning Programs,” organized by the Department of Urban Development, successfully concluded today at the International Conference Hall of the Tianmu Campus. With the theme “Planning the Future, Building Resilience Together,” this year’s exhibition brought together 26 projects from 14 departments across 13 universities in Taiwan, showcasing the creativity and innovative thinking of the new generation of planning students toward sustainable land development. 📢 **Highlights of the Event:** ♟ **Gathering of Representatives from Government, Industry, and Academia:** The event began with a welcome speech delivered by President Ying-Hao Chiu of the university. Distinguished guests, including Secretary-General Tzu-Yuan Chao of the Urban Planning Institute and Chairman En-Xi Chu of the National Federation of Urban Planning Professional Engineers Associations, were invited to deliver remarks and encourage participating students. ♟ **Special Keynote Lecture:** Deputy Minister Hsin-Hsiu Wu of the Ocean Affairs Council delivered a keynote speech titled “Prospects of Marine Spatial Planning in Taiwan.” From an integrated land-sea perspective, he discussed the draft of the “Marine Spatial Planning Act” and encouraged students to develop cross-disciplinary integration and innovative planning perspectives.
