The University of Taipei and GLA University, India, held an online meeting on August 18, 2026, to further strengthen substantive collaboration under the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities. The University of Taipei was represented by Prof. Chen, Dean for International Affairs; Ms. Yu, Director of the International and Cross-Strait Academic Exchange Division; and Mr. Wang, Executive Officer of the Office of International Affairs. GLA University was represented by an Associate Professor and an Assistant Professor from the Department of Computer Engineering and Applications. During the meeting, both sides discussed future collaboration, including the possibility of establishing a student internship agreement and promoting further cooperation with the Department of Computer Science or other departments with previous collaborative experience at the University of Taipei. GLA University also explained that its students may receive credit recognition for exchange studies at partner universities ranked among the top 1,000 in the QS World University Rankings, subject to relevant regulations. The two sides also exchanged information regarding student dormitories, accommodation at the International House, and related accommodation fees for GLA University students during their stay in Taiwan. Through this meeting, both universities further identified potential areas for future cooperation and will continue to communicate on student exchanges, internships, and academic collaboration, with the aim of gradually expanding substantive exchanges between the two institutions.
